About Me

I graduated college in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics & new Media; along with a concentration in Print. In conjunction with my usual design and art based classes- I also took various business and law classes as well; which defiantly sparks my interest in research and development when it comes to building and organizing a project from the ground up.

I work as a Print & Packaging Specialist full time; where I collaborate with customer’s and their design departments on making sure their artwork is up to certain industry standards and specs to be within compliance for our products (Gift Tissue & Paper Party Decor).

When I am not working I try to channel my creative outlets with freelancing, drawing, designing, sewing, writing and all other sorts of hobbies.

My tools of the trade are my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Wacom Cintiq and the Adobe Creative Suite.

What are your tools of the trade?

I use a Macbook Pro, Wacom Intuos & Cintiq, Ipad Pro, Apple Pencil and work primarily in the Adobe Creative Suite.

How much do you charge for your services?

I charge based off the work and time put into a project. For example, a simple sketch or illustration wouldn’t cost nearly as much as creating an entire website.

Are there any subjects you will not work with?

I will not work with any type of fan art or fan characters due to my copyright policy.

What is "Kristhecreative"?

I started using the username Kristhecreative as a name to post my “drawing a day” projects and side illustrations. Same person and same me!

Someone stole/ Infringed on your art...

Ah, yes. I get this all the time- so thank you everyone for keeping your eye out! Please send me an email at kristina@ksavasta.com with a link to the stolen work.

What is the deal with the "Drawing of the Day"?

I started the “Drawing of the Day” as a challenge to force myself to try and be creative during creative slumps. Even if it’s a ten-minute doodle, I try to create at least one thing a day.

Can I request something?

I am always open to ideas for my drawings and patterns; however, I am not open to any requests entitling original characters, fan characters and such. Check out the blog area and see if there’s a post that tickles your fancy!

What is your policy on using your images?

PLEASE do not use my images without my permission! If you would like to feature a picture or design, please send me an email. 🙂

What kind of crafts do you do?

I started crafting in college, around 2011. I tend to craft on the side when I have free time, however most of my free time goes towards freelancing or drawing these days.

I work with sewing/ plush making, clay sculpting, paper crafts and more.

Please do not ask for any crafting commissions. I will post on my site and blog when they are open.

Will you ever sell crafts & plush again?

Maybe someday. Due to the laws in my state, there’s a lot of hoops to jump through in order to sell legally- and it’s just too much to handle at this point in time.
